Crochet Pocket Shawls - A Behind the Scenes List to the BEST 10 Shawls!
Crochet is one of the most relaxing hobbies that I use as a coping skill for my mental health! I LOVE it! I can not tell you the endless hours that I spend looking at patterns, yarn, and hooks! I came up with the idea for this post by just browsing the web! I am always searching for great new designers to follow, so I wanted to showcase some pocket shawls that I plan on making!

Sunflower Pocket Shawl Crochet Pattern
Sunflower Pocket Shawl Crochet Pattern
This design is by KathyLutzDesigns. I have actually crocheted another one of her patterns! It was also a pocket shawl. I remember very well that the pattern was super easy to follow! I gave it as a gift! This shawl is so detailed! I love the pockets!!!

Boho Beaded Pocket Scarf
I would love to try this pattern by tl.crochet. I like that the yarn used is Canon One pound or Hobby Lobby I Love This Yarn! It would need a little bit more than two skeins of the Caron One Pound because the yardage total is 1500 – 1800

Easy Crochet Shawl
HappyHookinByJamie is the designer of this beautiful shawl. It has 381 reviews at five stars when I write this. Several reviews state that it is a straightforward pattern and working up nicely!

Turkey Trot Mystery Make Along
By the Beautiful Ms. MarlyBird! This was a mystery event project on the website. MarlyBird released it around Thanksgiving 2020. If you have not followed one of these events, I highly recommend it! The shawl itself is marvelous! I would love to make this one very soon!

Harvest Moon Pocket Shawl
Such a gorgeous pattern by Carrie M Chambers. I have this pattern saved in my “to-do list” (don’t we all have one of those!?!) This pattern uses Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice yarn with a total needed of 1020 – 1050 yards. It looks so stylish.

Puff Stitch Pocket Shawl
The creator of the unique Pocket Shawl is Alice Westenberg. It is SO beautiful!!!! I LOVE puff stitch! I think it looks so classy when it is done right. I must sometimes admit my puff stitches are not uniform, and I have to frog it A LOT because I am a weirdo that way!

Crochet Pocket Shawl
An outstanding-looking pocket shawl by Viana Boenzli. This shawl is completely stunning! I am adding it to my “must make” list. I must say her website, Maplewood Road, had me drooling! There are all kinds of yumminess going on over there, as the site is not strictly crocheting! I spent too long over at the site. LOL Go look at it!

Pine Gap Pocket Shawl
Jessica from Stitching Together has an absolutely AWESOME Blog where I found this fabulous Pine Gap Pocket Shawl pattern! I must be honest. This post has taken me almost all day long because I love looking at great blogs! Her’s is stunning! There are A LOT more crochet patterns just as lovely as this shawl.

Lazy Diamond Boho Pocket Shawl
The designer behind this beauty is Crystal White-Van Cleemput. It is in her Ravelry Shop. I love the look of this shawl because the back of it comes down into a point like a shawl that you would usually think of, BUT it has the sides and pockets! It is very unique, and the best part is you can use any worsted yarn!

Passion Pocket Shawl
The Talented Ms. Shehnaaz is the blogger and crochet designer featured in several crochet magazines that created this fantastic Pocket Shawl. I am so in love with the color! It just screams FALL to my eyes! It is made with five skeins of Lion Brand Wool-Ease.
Here is all the Details
Conclusion
I had the BEST time planning this article! I love admiring crochet designs, and I love the blogs too! Both hobbies that I enjoy are crochet and blogging! I am glad I didn’t have anything else planned to work on today!!! I am sure that I am going to head back over to the Maplewood Road blog again!! I bookmarked that page! This list is not in a certain order! I just put it together for your enjoyment.
